介绍
《口译研究概论》一书出版后,在翻译研究界及口译研究界均受到高度评价。翻译研究界的代表人物Mona Baker(2004)称,“这本以读者为本的实用教科书是口译研究这门重要的新兴学科的一个权威路线图”(definite map of this important and growing discipline);口译界的国际间最大行业组织“国际口译员协会”(AIIC)也发表评论,“该书的出版是对口译研究领域的一大贡献”(Dawrant A., 2004)。《口译研究概论》自出版以来也受到了口译研究者及口译学习者的亲睐,很多学校将该书列为口译(研究)方向硕士生、博士生的必读书。
《翻译研究概论》全书分三大部分,共十章。第一部分“口译研究的理论基础”(Foundations)包括第一至第五章,分别讨论了口译研究的基本概念、口译研究的历史、口译的研究路径、研究范式及理论模式等。 第二部分“选题及研究”(Selected Topics and Research),包括了第六至第九章,作者围绕口译研究的四个主要方面,即:口译过程研究、口译产品及译员表现研究、口译实践与职业研究、口译教学研究等展示了有关的研究成果。第三部分“研究趋向”(Directions)(第十章)对口译研究的学科发展态势和关键问题进行扼要总结,并对今后口译研究的发展趋势和路径作出预测。
作为口译研究界第一本口译理论的导论性教材,本书在内容选材和结构安排方面均体现了“读者为本”(user-friendly)的特点。每章开头都配有“要点提示”,每章结尾都配有“内容概述”,其后还附有供进一步研读的相关书目。章节中还配有24幅画龙点睛式的图表,能为口译研究者(尤其是口译研究的入门者和研究生)起到“研究路线图”的作用。全书行文具有很强的可读性,其中介绍的研究理论和方法也具备很强的可操作性。
