介绍
《综合教程》（第三版）坚持立德树人，参照《大学英语教学指南》，基于全新版大学英语《综合教程》第二版修订。教材采用折中主义(eclecticism)教学理念，旨在指导学生在深入学习课文的基础上，从词、句、语篇等角度进行听、说、读、写、译多方面的语言操练，着重培养学生的英语语言能力和综合应用能力。 AI增强版突出AI在WE Learn平台中的运用，特别是针对口语、翻译、写作等部分，更加注重交互性和反馈的及时性。AI增强版同时配备自测试题库，包含四、六级单项训练和综合测试，教师可自主组卷，能有效帮助学生做好考试准备。

本书为“全新版大学高阶英语”(New Advanced College English)《综合教程》的教师手册。
每单元由下列六部分组成：

参考教案(Suggested Teaching Plan)在关注学生英语语言基础训练的同时，侧重于学生综合技能的培养。基础教案需用四个课时，加上补充练习(Supplemen-tary Exercises)则可扩充到六个课时。课文的主题始终贯穿于整个教案内容的安排之中。
参考教案分为课时分配(Time Allotment)和教学步骤(Teaching Steps)两部分。其中教学步骤又包括五方面：Step 1:Warming Up;Step 2:Global Analysisof Text A;Step3:Language/Culture Study and Practice;Step 4:Check on Homework;Step5:Further Study and Practice。
Step 1:Warming Up指旨在激发学生学习兴趣，激活学生已学过的知识图式，为学习新的单元作好铺垫；Step 2:Global Analysis of TextA目的在于通过对篇章结构的分析加深学生对课文的理解和对各种英语文体的认识；Step 3:Language/CultureStudy and Practice通过新的例句，加深学生对新学词语的理解，帮助学生学会这些词语在各种语境中的运用，扩展他们已有的知识图式；Step4和Step 5进一步提供学生各种语言操练机会，特别是Step 5中的Comprehensive Language Practice,更在学生经过前面听、读两个阶段积累了有关该主题的语言素材后，进一步为他们提供说、写实践的机会，从而多方面提高学生的英语交际能力。
为了贯彻教育部在2020年6月1日印发的《高等学校课程思政建设指导纲要》,参考教案专门设计了“云上论坛(Forum in the Cloud)”板块，结合每个单元的主题，设计两个讨论题，供教师利用现代网络或移动网络技术将思政融入教学。第一个讨论题聚焦宏观层面的中国特色社会主义和中国梦教育、社会主义核心价值观教育、法治教育、劳动教育、心理健康教育、中华优秀传统文化教育；第二个讨论题将重心转移到大学生可以在立德树人方面主动做些什么上。
语言学习(Language Focus)包括课文难点注解以及各种新句型、新习语使用的范例。凡属课文A精选出的重点操练词及词组(Words and Phrases to Drill),均按其在课文中出现的顺序加注并配以例证。鉴于英语中一词多义的基本属性，在处理重点词时，除着重阐明该词出现在课文中的释义及其用法外，还适当提供了该词的其他最常用的意义及用法。至于是否向学生介绍这些词语在课文语义以外的意思和用法，可由教师灵活掌握。
补充练习(Supplementary Exercises)进一步提供与A、B课文主题相关的听写、翻译、词汇拓展、阅读理解、改写、图片口头表述等多种练习。
在具体安排教学活动时，教师可根据自己的教学实际情况选用上述内容。
本手册由吴晓真主编，夏国佐主审，英籍专家Anthony J.Ward协助审阅。练习答案和课文译文由《综合教程》学生用书编写组提供。
由于编者水平与经验有限，书中难免有不足之处，希望读者批评指正。
